  • Criminal Actions
  • Violation of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board rules and Policies.

The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) has all the right to screen and review the candidates with any criminal history, the candidate’s eligibilty, and also they have the right to refuse any candidate in acquiring a certification.

There are two ways to Apply for PTCE.

  1. First is via on-line application – In this type of application, the candidate must be completely equipped with the requirements mentioned above.
  2. Is via letter or paper which is only available upon request. This method is often used by people who are physically challenged or with disabilities.

Qualified candidates will recieve a letter called “Authorization to Test” or (ATT). The letter is comprised with instructions regarding the exam schedule and whereabouts.The verification is granted by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. These examinations are often held at several different locations. The pharmacy technician certification board performs the National Pharmacy Technician Certification exam.

It is well known that candidates who pass this exam will have the capability to cope with patients competently and proficiently. They are called as Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT).
