The PTCB website has a practice test on their site that you can take as many times as you require. You should take this test on a regular basis to see how you are progressing with the new information that you are learning. After taking the test a few times, you should feel confident that you will be able to pass the test successfully.
On the day of the test, be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of schedule. You will need to fill out a number of forms, being early means you won’t have to rush, which can lead to you feeling nervous. Don’t stay up the night before getting in last minute practice, make sure that you have a full eight hours sleep. Don’t bring along any personal property such as a cell phone to the testing center. The examination will take place on a computer, you do not need any writing materials and you are provided with a calculator.
